2 BIRTHDAYS + 3 BBQS

The 4th of July started off with fun and ended with fun. Here's a recap of what our day was like this year.

Faith had a birthday party for Ethan, whose birthday is July 4th!!! They had a minute to win it themed birthday, which was a blast. Faith's favorite was "Ready spaghetti" that she played with Myah. Bryleigh did "Face the Cookie" against Drew. The cookie kept falling off of her face. It was very funny.

We bought Ethan "Fablehaven", one of my favorites!!! He is very excited to read it. While the kids played at the birthday party, we had Kaden with us. We even had a special visit to the snow shack!

Our first BBQ started at 3 at the Renos. We had a wonderful time visiting with them, Dusty's parents, and the Tuias. It was so much fun!

Next we headed to the Bohney's BBQ, which started at "4:00". I made Jello Jigglers and brought marshmallows. Here's what it looked like:

Recipe -
2 lg boxes of jello
3 pkg of knox gelatin
4 1/2 c. of boiling water

Stir until dissolved. Put on cookie sheet and refrigerate until set.

Will was the official grill master and took care of everyone. The Bohney's love bratwursts. I stuck with a plain cheeseburger!!!

Here are a few pictures that I snapped while we spent more time with friends.

On our way to Grandma Kathy's we got sidetracked with puddle jumping ... it was awesome!!!

We arrived in time to eat some more (including corn on the cob), and played some games outside.

Here are a few of the pictures that we took of the fireworks. The fun thing was that you could see the crescent moon the whole time! This was also the first time that Kate has made it through fireworks. Yeah!

Happy 235th Birthday America!!! We sure had a good time celebrating your birthday!!! Can't wait until next year!
