Dawson's class did so many fun things to prepare for Christmas. I have his teacher to thank, Mrs. Chandler. I know that she puts her heart and soul into the class each and every year.
Dawson came home with a bell in the beginning of December that had a chain link on it. Here is the poem:
December first till Christmas
Is the longest time of the year.
Seems as though old Santa
Never will appear.
How many more days til Christmas?
It's mighty hard to count,
So this little chain ribbon
Will tell you the amount.
Snip a chain every night
When sandman casts his spell
And Christmas Eve will be here
By the time you reach the bell.
They also held a fun Christmas concert in their classroom, where they sang bingo with santa instead. "I know a man all dressed in red, and Santa is his name-oh." Then, by the end, they were singing "Ho, Ho, Ho-ho-ho!" Very fun and cute!

We are blessed to have a great teacher, good classmates, and a cute little man who is willing to learn, sing, and perform for us!
