I AM THANKFUL #13

I am thankful for Faith. This girl is truly amazing and such a blessing in our lives. When I found out I was pregnant, Brandon and I quickly agreed upon a boy's name, Dawson. The middle name would be either Cole or Michael. After we found out that we were having a girl, we couldn't decide on a name. We finally narrowed it down to Mya, KimberLee, and Faith. At 7 months pregnant, we agreed upon Faith and started searching for a middle name. Tracy suggested Nicole, and it just sounded right. Faith means "to trust" and Nicole is the feminine of Nicholas which means, "victory of the people."


Faith has always been such a happy, bright child. When she was 17 months old, she named all of her colors to the babysitter. Jana said that she thought she was a genius ... but I quickly told her that we had been working on it.


Between 18 months and 2 years, Faith began to use large vocabulary. Words like, "delicious" and "vaccinations". She was such a joy to her family and friends. She couldn't leave without saying goodbye.


Faith always had friends. At 4 weeks old, I went back to work full time and Faith went to 'live' at Kristy and Zoey's house. Zoey was like a big sister to Faith. She learned how to say "no" and "mine" before she learned how to walk. She also loved to play with Bekah whenever Mom played with (stamping, scrapbooking, etc.) Jenny. This was often.

Faith has the best qualities. She wants to please everyone and helps bring peace in our home.


Faith is a great example to a younger brother and sister. They look up to her always. It is fun to see how Faith's friends are their friends too.


She is generous, loving, kind, considerate, creative, and talented.


She is a wonderful student in school and enjoys reading and learning.

Brandon's patriarchal blessings says that he will be blessed with Faith. We are indeed blessed to have such a lovingly daughter of God in our home. We love her SO much and want her to know that she is the best!
