We decided to attend the teddy bear clinic up at Portneuf Medical Center. We had never been before. Dawson was not happy, until we got to the helicopter part. Maybe we will go next time, just for that part!
Yes, we need to register and admit "Chinta," Faith's Chinchilla, "Trouble," Kate's Teddy Bear, and "Mr. Owls," Dawson's owl.
All the animals received shots. It's funny, because ever since Faith was about 3, she has referred to shots as 'vaccinations.' She would tell her doctor, 'I like vaccinations.' (Faith has always used large words for her age.)
Can you hear Trouble?
How about how smart you are?
The ISU Dental program actually has stuffed animals with sets of teeth. Kind of freaky if you ask me. Here Kate is brushing a fish's teeth.
***Side note - sometime about here, Dawson got really upset and just wanted to go home. Brandon was trying to take care of him and take pictures. I am very grateful for what he was able to get.
We went to get a cast before we went to the x rays. Funny though. Kate told a huge long story of how Trouble got hurt.
This was the x ray part. Trouble and Chinta got to go on a ride on the table. The ISU student helped show how the table goes up and down, and even to a 90 degree angle. The part on topped moved. I think that they really enjoyed it. Both Faith and Kate have had x rays before.
Life flight was the highlight of our trip to the hospital. Dawson thought this was the coolest ever.
Kate is now ready to go home. I call this picture 'Teddy Tears.'
