SANTA FOUND US!

We must have been very good this year, because Santa Clause found us! The magic reindeer food really works!!!

I have to say that Christmas has been my favorite these last few years. Not only has Santa found us, but I have put a lot of effort into the gifts of love. And not to disappoint, the kids have really loved them. What a joy!

DON'T WANT TO KNOW

Sometimes, when I transfer the pictures from the camera to the computer, I find pictures like this.

You know, the kind that make you say in your head, "I don't want to know what my husband does at work."

BLANKET HIDING

The other kids said that Kate was missing and that I had to come to find her.

It wasn't hard to find her. There was so much giggling beneath practically every blanket that we own! It was a very fun peep-a-boo session!!!

Too much fun!!!

IMPERFECTION

Like many of you, each year after Thanksgiving, we put up our Christmas tree. This year, was perhaps a little more stressful. Some of the lights were out on the tree and we couldn't find all of the boxes for Christmas.

Still playing in the tote

The star is always a big deal at our house. So, we put it on 3 times this year, not wanting anyone to miss out on their turn!

Looking closer, you'll see the following:

Walle with his missing head

Homemade one eyed Rudolph

Baby boy with first words ... that are missing

Gingerbread girl with the store tag still attached

But then, I see these 3 beautiful, smiling faces looking at me.

Faith 2004

Dawson 2010

Kate 2010

I was surprised at the smile after the tree was put together. It certainly isn't department store worthy, but it's perfect for our family.
