YIKO Sport In-ear Headphones Noise Isolating Headset Product Review

I love music of all kinds as well as audio books and talk radio, the one thing I don't love is crappy audio. I have used all types of headphones, ear buds and speakers to listen to audio from my phone. My go to pair of head phones is a pair of BOSE noise canceling headphones that cost me a little over $300. I was shocked at how well these headphones sounded and was pleased that they where not some cheap pair like you get with the Iphone. The build and quality is great, they cord looks to be a twisted cable inside of the outer plastic casing. Very durable feeling to them and not a cheep feel like other entry level headphones I have tried.

The sound quality of these blew me away, nice deep bass and not to high on the highs. Very comfortable to wear, had them on for a few hours at work and couldn't even tell they where on. They come in a nice packaging with a nice hard shell case with extra plastic inserts to custom fit them to your ears. I also tried them while running on the treadmill for about 30-40 min and didn't have any issues with them falling off or sliding all over the place.

I received these at a discount price in exchange for my honest opinion and review. I will be buying more of this at full price for my daughter that seems to go through Iphone headphones like crazy, they are well worth the price and would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Purchase here on Amazon, I don't get any kickbacks if you do.

• Any Combination Of Above!

No Clicking, No Scrolling, No Typing !!!

If you are like me you probably have never heard of a NFC tag let alone what they do.  It took me some research to comprehend what exactly they do.  Like in the description above that I copied and pasted from the Amazon information, NFC tags let you automate process on your phone or tablet that you normally do by hand.  Sounds kinds cheesy right, but if you are like me and normally do a hand full of things before I actually lay down and try to fall asleep this is a great little item.

It will not change your life forever and you will have hours of extra free time but it is just a cool little gadget.  For me I set one of these little tags by my bed and when I tap my phone to it the following happens: Phone goes on silent, system noises goes on silent, my WiFi and other non essential programs are shut off and my Audible and Kindle Apps launch which will let me decide if I want to read a book or listen to a book as I try to fall asleep.

There are numerous things that these can be used for and if you are smarter than me (which is not hard) you can get them to do all sorts of things for you.  I did receive these for free for my honest opinion and review, and I would recommend them if you are someone that likes to tinker around with automation and making things a little easier on yourself.

Best Chew treats Ever!!

This is Echo, she loves to chew, eat, sniff and devour anything that is tasty.  So far we haven't found anything that she will not eat, and a few things that she loves to eat.  Her favorite is freshly cooked chicken, and ham. We have bought her hand fulls of different toys, bully sticks and other treats for her to eat and chew on, with only a few that she absolutely loves.  The bully sticks and beef Tendons 6 combo pack is one of her absolute favorites.

There are 3 Bully Sticks and 3 Tendon mix pieces in this package and when I gave Echo the Bully stick she sat in her corner of the living room and chewed on that thing for almost 2 hours straight.  After she was done she took a drink of water and came to find me wanting another one.  I have never seen her just chew on a Bully stick non stop, she was relentless chewing on that thing.  I would recommend this for any dog lover who's dog loves to chew on things.  I got this item at a discounted price for my honest opinion and review.

Super Fisheye Camera Lens Kit 3 in 1 by Zeso

The idea of SLR type lenses for your cell phone just blew my mind when I found out about them.  We have a nice Nikon SLR camera that just collects dust since we have our smart phones on us at all times and if done right can take as good of pictures as the expensive SLR cameras.

This package includes a wide angle, fish eye and and macro lenses.  I was very skeptical at first thinking it would just be a joke and not actually take good pictures.  I was wrong and was impressed with the quality of the lenses and how well they operated.

Here is a sample of the macro lens and how close of a picture I was able to take with this awesome little lens.

I would highly recommend getting this package of 3 lenses.  It comes with a nice hard shell carrying case that can be clipped on to almost anything, that way you always have a variety of lenses close at hand and you don't have to pack around that big SLR camera anymore.  I did receive this item at a discount for my honest opinion and review.

The stone Bearers Book Review

Fifteen-year-old Ashira just received the worst coming-of-age prophecy imaginable.

After years dreaming of oceans, princes, and fairies, she expected the diviner to speak the words that would finally whisk her away from her ordinary desert village. Instead Ashira hears, “you will live a life of no renown.”

Ready to choose her own fate, she discovers a djinni’s bottle and starts making wishes. When the djinni proves uncooperative and annoying, Ashira sets out to the great city of magicians to learn magic and free herself from an uneventful life as a potter's daughter.
But there is another prophecy being whispered in the shadows. It is said that among the great magicians, there is a demon on the rise with the power to destroy the world. The djinni might be Ashira’s only chance to become someone important, or he just might be the very demon that triggered the dark prophecy. With the world on the brink of destruction, can Ashira fight her fate and stop the forces that threaten to upset the balance of the universe?

I like many others have a hard time reading self published or low budget books so to speak. They are kinda like B Movies only worse. I was happy to say that this book didn't have that feel to it at all. The characters where well developed and didn't have any issues following the story line.

I don't want to include any spoilers but I am excited to read more from this author and hope that you give this book a shot. I got an advanced copy for my review and it would be one that I would buy and hope they make an audio book on it as well.

Where did the charger go to???

I know that I am not alone when it comes to always loosing your power adapter, or not having the right one on hand when you need to charge your device.  I have tried a handful of other device that let you charge multiple device at the same time.  This is the first one that I absolutely love, it is pocket sized and can charge any device.

Not only is it small but it charges my phone in half the time that my old one did.  I like that it does stick out so far out of the out let like my old ones did.  It literally fits in the palm of my hand.

The device is well built and very sturdy, doesn't feel like cheap plastic at all.  It comes well packaged, although it did take me a few min to get the outer sleeve off because it was a tight fit.

Overall I would recommend this for anyone looking to consolidate all those adapters that you keep loosing.  I set this up in a central location and created a charging station in the house and makes it so much more convenient and faster charging doesn't hurts also.  Will be getting another one to stuck in my work bag as well.

MY WHOLE STORY

Years ago at an Obagi marketing seminar in Salt Lake City, I listened to a presenter tell a story about a couple people. She told the story and then made us rank each character starting with #1 in the order that we liked them. A couple volunteers told their ranking and why. After the ranking process, we found out that we were only half way through the story. SHOCKER! By the end of the actual story, we learned the WHOLE story. It totally changed my opinion (and everyone else's opinion) of which characters they liked more and so on.

Life is so much like this. So many times we hear a story and make a judgement on the character of the person. It's natural to do that and all of us do. It's just interesting that as we receive more information how we might think different or even change our opinion.

A couple years ago, I tried to keep a very open mind. Where I would use to say, "I have no idea why she does that" etc., I started to think up reasons why she did do that. Maybe she had a bad day, maybe it didn't occur to her to do it different, maybe she didn't have enough money, etc. It has changed a lot of how I think and how I respond to others.

Today, as I was talking to a good friend, she mentioned our first interaction. It wasn't even on my radar because my experience was different and not cataloged like hers. Our first interaction took place around 7 years ago when doing a co-op preschool. We both had preschoolers at that time, and I arranged the moms in the neighborhood that wanted to participate to do so. I sent out a reminder during the rainy time of year to set a towel out by the front door for the kids to place their wet shoes on, etc. This friend also told me what she thought of my email... that I didn't know her well at all. (Insert laugh out loud here.) A towel may have or may not have been placed at the front door. I'm sure that others eye rolled as well. She goes on to tell me that I am such a loyal friend and one of her most favorite people now. All because she got to know me a little better.

Eye opener for me because I had no idea that this was her first perception of me. For me, that was not reality and not truth. But it was for her. Hmmmm. More internal dialog.

This last year for me has been one of the hardest. I know that I do not think like 95% of the people out there. Many times we associate and affiliate with those who are like us. But isn't it great if we hear the WHOLE story and refrain from making judgments right away. I feel like that's what has happened for me. But I'm going to continue trying to be positive and do what I do best.

So, here's my whole story. I am a loyal, lifelong, fight to the death type of friend. I look for ways to help and serve others on a daily basis. I also am a perfectionist, which means I want to do things a certain way and cross items off my list regularly. (Yes, I make lists and follow them.) I know I am not perfect, but that doesn't mean that I don't want to be right. I work hard every single day at my job; nothing is half way. I don't think like 95% of the people out there. I may say things right to the point, bluntly, and lacking tact, but I really don't mean to hurt feelings, tell you to do things a certain way, or don't believe what you are saying is truth. I hope one day that you get to know me well enough to smile and say in a loving way, "That's Zoey and I wouldn't change her for the world!" And for all those that you deal with each day, take a moment to try and understand the WHOLE story.

IntelliDent Product Review

How Clean is your toothbrush, no really? Most people don't think too much about the cleanliness of their toothbrush. To tell you the truth I never thought too much about it myself until I tested this product out and started doing some research into just how nasty the things in the bathroom can get. If your family is like ours we all have our tooth brushes in a little cup type holder to keep them all together. That is fine, but what about when someone in your family is sick or starting to get sick. After they brush their teeth they just toss their toothbrush in with the rest of the toothbrushes and splatter germs all over the rest of the family's toothbrushes, getting everyone else in the family sick as well.

What is nice about the IntelliDent is that it will block all the germs that would normally make it to your toothbrush so you don't have to keep getting the family sick and passing all the germs around. It is also good just to keep all the other germs off of your toothbrush as well. Have you ever wondered what happens when you flush the toilet, you would be surprised at all the germs that escape the toilet bowl.

The IntelliDent Toothbrush Shield was tested to be a 99.9% effective barrier against airborne and surface bacteria, by the Nelson Laboratories, Salt Lake City, UT. Nelson Laboratories is a leading provider of full, life-cycle microbiology testing for the medical device, pharmaceutical, and natural product industries.

This amazing product is worth the pennies a day that it costs and is a great investment in you and your families health. They also have guards for mouth pieces as well so you can keep those nice and safe and free from all the same bacteria as your toothbrush. Can be purchased at Walmart, Walgreens or at https://www.intellidentproducts.com/home.html. I would recommend this product for everyone and anyone because of the price and how great the product is. I did receive this product for free for my honest opinion and review.

Book Review of The Subtle Beauty (Crowns of the Twelve Book 1)

I wanted to like this book because I love to read and very seldom come across a book that I do not like or can't finish.  The book didn't make a lot of sense and lost me before I was halfway into it.  I wanted to stop reading after the first 20 pages but wanted to try to give the book the benefit of the doubt.  I ended up throwing in the towel shortly after being half way through the book.  I just could not get my brain to continue reading any longer.  I would not recommend this book unless you are wanting something to ready that might challenge your brain. I got this book for free for my honest opinion and review.

Product Review For Gorsun Headphones

Product Review For Gorsun Headphones
#headphone

The Gorsun C Series headphones are leaps and bounds
better than most all of the headphones I have used in this price range and even better than some more expensive headphones that I have used.  The sound quality is surprisingly great, has some nice deep bass and the treble is excellent as well, overall a great range for most all of the music that I listened to.  I tried them out with rock, country, pop and some classical music.  They are very loud head phones and I was able to listen at a lower volume then normal and still have them sound great.

They are extremely comfortable and after wearing them all day for listening to music and phone calls I forgot that I had them on at one point in the day.  The loop that you can use to wrap around your ears to make them not fall out while exercising is a great feature as well.  I was able to do some running and weight lifting without even worrying about them falling out.  It is nice to be able to retract that part as well and have them look sleek when just using them normally.

I used them for a few days as a hand free set to make and receive phone calls as well and was surprised to say that the sound was great and I didn’t have anyone complain that they couldn’t hear me from the microphone.  I even had it under my shirt so the cord wouldn’t snag on anything while I was at work and the microphone still performed better than expected.  I wish the cord was a little longer so I could have the microphone and controls on the outside.  Having a volume up and down button would have been a nice added feature as well.

I normally use Bluetooth headsets to listen to music and for my calls on my cell phone but sometimes need a corded set while my Bluetooth is charging.  I will defiantly keep these handy for my back up pair. I am giving them 4 stars because the lack of volume control on the cord. I was provided these at a discount for my honest review and opinion.

FAMILY ANNIVERSARY #15 - TRIP TO PROVO, UT

I was so excited to celebrate our 15th year family anniversary with the family by going to Provo. The reason why we chose Provo was because the Provo City Center Temple had an open house going on right now. Perfect timing for us!!!

We left on Friday and headed down to Provo to our hotel. Our kids just LOVE staying in hotels. We don't get to do that very often, but we have been staying more often than in the past. We decided on Red Robin for dinner and met Laura and Jason, along with Sam!!!

Dinner was not great, but we did enjoy each other's company. After dinner, we took a dip in the pool and earned more points for our fitness challenge.

Saturday morning, we beat the morning rush to breakfast and headed to the temple. It was quite the rat race going back in forth in the lines in the underground parking lot. Luckily the standby line was quick.

After waiting for a little bit, we went into one of the theater rooms, put on the famous booties and watched a 10 minute video of why temples are so important to Mormons. It was beautiful.

It was beautiful. Kate was so touched at the baptismal font that she asked if she could be baptized for cousin Maze when she turned 8. I had to explain to her that girls are only baptized for girls. And then Robyn reminded me that children under 8 don't need any temple ordinances. He is perfect. It still gives me chills just thinking about that perfect nephew. I can't wait to meet him again.

Here are some pictures from online since photography is not allowed.

The end of the tour ends with the Christus

Our pictures as we were leaving!!!

After the temple, we went to Spanish Fork to see Laura's apartment. We had a good laugh about how narrow her kitchen was. Dishwasher in the back, across from the fridge and then the stove. It's cozy!!!

The kids then played the wii and tried out several things. It was very fun!!! Here they are bowling!

the Peterson family!!!

After the time in Spanish Fork, we went back to Provo to visit with the infamous Thomas family. We like to call them the Fa'aga'i's. Haha!!!

We had a wonderful time visiting at a lunch/dinner!

They brought up back to their cozy apartment. I had to take a picture of their picture frame!!!
We all signed their frame while we visited even more.

After we were done visiting, we headed up to the Jolley's to visit with our cousins. We had dinner and then played card games while the kids played too. I love that they all get along and love each other.

Too much fun!!! Sunday, we attending their full block of meetings at church. I really loved it so much!

The weekend was so much fun and worth every minute of it. I hope the other kids loved it as much as I did. Here's to another 15 years!!!
