BOISE VACATION - PART 1

Our theme for vacation this year was 'how low can ya go!' meaning let's do vacation for as cheap as possible. We opted to go to Meridian for the Dairy Days parade and stay with my Aunt Sondra. We packed food to share and were planning on a good time. She was so gracious to let us stay and feed us too. The kids especially loved her pantry full of treats.

Kate had croup the morning of the day we planned to leave, so we had to rearrange our plans to make it to the doctor first. Imagine that!

We arrived in time to make dinner, which I insisted on. We made pizza and breadsticks, which did not turn out like I had hoped. It was edible though, so that was good.

Then we played games that night - I think phase 10, which was fun.

We were glad to have made it to her house and to start the party. Kate was shy with Sondra at first, but warmed up quickly to her. She did not sleep well that night. She woke up in the middle of the night and didn't know where she was, so I had to go downstairs and grab her. The good news was that she did okay with the croup.
