ANG-CATION DAY #3 - SURPRISE BREAKFAST, TACKY PARTY

That morning, we awoke early to go get Minnie. Minnie was turning 50 on Tuesday, and these lovely ladies surprised her for breakfast! What a fun special treat for a special lady! She's one of those that you instantly fall in love with!

We went up to her bedroom and took a picture with our masks!

It was super cute because she was looking around the room and saying thank you to everyone. When she got to me, she had to do a double take... and instead of saying anything, just started looking at the next person. It was adorable!!!

We blindfolded her until we got to the restaurant... it was a bit scary because she wasn't buckled in at first. But we made it there safe and sound!

Here we are at Panara Bread for breakfast!

After a nap (another vacation benefit), we started to get ready for the tacky party.

Step 1: braid all of the hair.

Step 2: add wires, ornaments, and this gorgeous outfit and a face FULL of blush!

Hear's my selfie!

Group photo of Rob, Ang, and myself before we left to the party. Rob looks SO happy, I know!
P.S. You'll never believe it because I didn't get a picture, but he wore a Team Jacob shirt underneath that sexy ladies jacket of his!!!
Selfie with Ang and myself!!! Do you like her lips?

We ate tacky food. Things like cheese puffs, turkey, spam casserole (which I made), etc.

Oh, you didn't know that there was such a thing? Yep. Here's the recipe incase you too are invited to a tacky party.

1 package of egg noodles
1 container of spam, cubed
1 can cream of celery
Shredded cheese

Cook the package of noodles. Mix together the noodles, spam, soup and pour into 9x13 pan. Add a little bit of milk if needed. Add shredded cheese on top and bake at 350 for about 30 minutes. Serve hot!

First game was the white elephant type game. Everyone brought something tacky. We drew out numbers in the order of when to pick. Once an item had been stolen twice, you couldn't steal it anymore. I brought homemade potato soap and poo-pourri, along with a half use roll of toilet paper. There was a lot of creativity in this. In the end, I ended up with CDs that were about negotiating ... so I gave them to Rob because that's what he does all day long! I hope he enjoys them!

Then we played a game where 3 people were called up to tell about a tacky story. BUT only one of them were telling the truth. So you had to guess! The prizes were expired items from her pantry. It was SO hilarious! Most everyone told a story somewhat true which made it super hard to figure out who was telling the truth.

We were super enthralled by the decorations of the chandler by the food. Strung with by twisty ties were turkey legs and a turkey beard. Yes! We ate turkey!!!

Here is Tracy, Kristin, Ang, me, and Sally
We are HOT ladies!!!

Post hair, I removed the following:
23 bobby pins
14 rubber bands
11 floral wires
11 ornaments

SO, so much fun! Kansas definitely knows how to party, that's for sure!
